The D.A.B. system uses a built-in digital chip and electromagnetic braking to automatically adjust resistance in real-time — sensing spool speed thousands of times per second. It brakes harder at high speeds to eliminate backlash, then backs off at low speeds to maximize distance. No batteries. No charging. Just intelligent, self-powered braking on every cast.
