How to Fish the Tideline Shrimp

Cast to structure, grass edges, and oyster bars and allow the weighted shrimp to sink naturally on a slack line — most strikes come on the fall. Retrieve with a slow, twitching action to imitate a fleeing shrimp. Effective under a popping cork with an 18–24" leader for targeting speckled trout and redfish over shallow flats. Also deadly on a slow, steady retrieve along the bottom for flounder.
